SwitchBot Contact Sensor is able to detect movement of the body over a greater area of 30 feet with angles of up to 110 degrees horizontally and 55 degrees vertically. It is also possible to set the sensitivity of the sensor to ensure you’re always seeing the correct things.

We’ve added a light sensor in the app that allows you to determine the type of lighting environment you are in. It is also possible to define your threshold for light to be light or dark using our application. When linked to the SwitchBot Hub Mini your Motion Sensor will automatically turn  the lamp on your desk off or on when it detects that there is light.

Install wherever you want

SwitchBot Motion Sensor can be set up anyplace in your home or using the magnetic base that comes with it or connects the sensor to any smooth surface with the adhesive pad supplied. Be sure your lens faces the desired location, and then place it near the top edge of the table or shelf.

Get notifications straight to your mobile.

Once Connected via SwitchBot Hub Mini, the Motion Sensor can notify you via push messages to your phone when someone is in your home while you’re in the vicinity.
